A robotic-assisted knee replacement is an advanced surgical technique that uses the MAKO robotic system to help your surgeon perform either a partial or total knee replacement with greater precision.

Knee arthroscopy is a minimally invasive “keyhole” procedure used to look inside the knee joint with a small camera (arthroscope) and fine instruments are inserted through tiny incisions.

ACL reconstruction is an operation to replace the torn ligament with a graft, usually taken from your own hamstring, patellar tendon or quadriceps tendon. The graft provides stability in the knee and with healing and careful strengthening, it can allow an athlete to have a stable knee again.

A meniscal repair is an operation where the torn edges of the meniscus are stitched back together to allow healing. Meniscal repair aims to preserve the cartilage, which is important for long-term knee health and reducing the risk of arthritis.

Patellar stabilisation surgery is an operation to prevent the kneecap (patella) from repeatedly slipping out of place (dislocating) or feeling unstable.

An osteotomy is an operation where the bone is carefully cut and repositioned to change the alignment of the knee joint. Plates and screws are then used to hold the bone in its new position while it heals.
